I remember exactly where I was when I watched this episode and this scene freaking blew my mind, not to mention it was a really good episode.
Movies like ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ (1963), ‘The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad’ (1958), ‘The Three Worlds of Gulliver’ (1960) and ‘Clash of the Titans’ (1981) were among my favorites as a young boy.
They fed my imagination, giving birth to several of my strongest fears and greatest passions which I have carried with me well into my adult life.
Ray Harryhausen was a creative genius and I feel genuinely saddened by the news of his death.
